Bayer Ballet presents The Snow Queen

December 14 & 15 at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts

By Cathy Ochoa - Macaroni Kid Sunnyvale-Mountain View October 2, 2019

Scheduling the family calendar around the holidays can be quite overwhelming, especially here in the Bay Area, where there is no shortage of experiences.

We are all looking to accomplish similar goals: creating lasting memories for our family and making traditions to enjoy with loved ones.

With that being said, we are excited to share with you “Snow Queen.”  This professional ballet, presented by Bayer Ballet, based on a fairy-tale by Hans Christian Andersen, will transport your family into an icy wonderland, filled with whimsy and intrigue, robbers and crows, dancing icicles and a magical flower garden.

Embark on this journey with young Gerda, as she sets out to save her younger brother, Kai from the clutches of the Snow Queen.  This story celebrates friendship, love, and courage!

This performance is 2 1/2 hours long with one 15 minute intermission and is appropriate for ages 3 and above.

Snow Queen is a holiday tradition you will enjoy with your family for many years to come.
